25 April, 2008

Zone of the Enders, also known as Z.O.E., is a video game that was developed and published by in 2001 for the PlayStation 2. It was produced by, and is closely associated with, Hideo Kojima. The game is based around mecha combat. The mechas were designed by KonamiYoji Shinkawa, the character and mechanical designer for the Metal Gear Solid series. The game is rated M for animated blood and animated violence, though not in such an excess that it would normally have constituted an M rating. The reason for the M rating is most likely due to its inclusion of the Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty demo, the fourth installment of Kojima's popular stealth game.

The soundtrack to Zone of the Enders was released April 25, 2001 on the album Zone of the Enders Z.O.E Original Soundtrack by Konami Music Entertainment. Almost all the music was composed by the trio Norihiko Hibino (日比野 則彦), Maki Kirioka (桐岡麻季) and Akihiro Honda (本田晃弘 ). Also, Shuichi Kobori (小堀修一) composed "Global 2 (Virus)" and Toshiyuki Kakuta (角田利之 ), "City (The Earth Light)". The theme song "KISS ME SUNLIGHTS" was composed and performed by Heart of Air
