Gunslinger Girl (ガンスリンガー·ガール, Gansuringā Gāru?) is an ongoing manga by Yu Aida. It was adapted into a thirteen-episode anime television series (animated by Madhouse) which aired in Japan from October 8, 2003 to February 19, 2004. A sequel to the series, titled Gunslinger Girl -Il Teatrino-, animated by Artland, aired in Japan between January 7, 2008 and March 31, 2008, also containing thirteen episodes.
